Liefmans Kriek 33cl 6%
This kriek is made with a completely different method than Kriek Lambic. Liefmans Kriek starts as old brown beer which is macerated with fresh whole cherries in shall or, horizontal tanks (every 100 litre of brown beer holds 13kg of cherries). The beer is then matured for 1 year and blended with Oud Bruin and Goudenband of different ages. The result is a well balances sour and sweet Kriek of great complexity.
